Join Us – and Bring a Friend – for Our Next Organizing Meeting: Garden Design and Planning (Friday, 4/24)

Are you ready for the next step in creating our community garden? We sure are! At our next meeting on Friday, 4/24, we will begin designing our garden – and kicking off our other main work groups we’ll need to start digging in the dirt.

WHEN: Friday, April 24, 7-8:30 pm
WHERE: Easter Seals Crossroads Rehabilitation Center, 4740 Kingsway Drive, Indianapolis, IN (please park in South Lot; take elevator to 5th floor and turn left)

Meeting Flyer 4/24/15

If you aren’t able to make it to the next meeting, let us know which group or groups you would like to join:
– Garden Design
– Fundraising and Partnerships
– Volunteer Management
– Education

Note: you don’t have to be an expert in any of the above to join the fun! For instance, I’m really interested in garden design, even though I don’t know much about it. If you have an interest in a certain area, join that work group. We will learn together and provide support to each other as we go.

General meeting agenda (more details to follow):
– Introductions and Latest Updates – Arsenal Park/Land Update, Fundraising Ideas
– Reviewing last meeting’s efforts: Our garden’s mission
– Group discussions and breakouts: Garden design, issues, questions, considerations, and work groups

Thank you to Easter Seals Crossroads for the generous use of their 5th floor meeting space! Please park in the South Parking Lot, take the elevator to the 5th floor, and turn left to find our meeting space.

P.S. You don’t have to be a resident of Keystone-Monon to be a part of this community endeavor! We welcome all. Please bring your kids, your neighbors, and your friends.
